I hate video games that make me angry - namely Bond - Goldeneye. Grrr.
I'm seriously slackin with this website. A lot has happened since I last updated that would be worthy of noting on here, but at this point I've had a couple of drinks (aka daquiri of doom) and I don't think I feel like thinking about stuff too hard.
But I do have a useful link. I'm sure most people have been here, but if you haven't GO NOW! Hilarious. Homestar Runner.
August 15th, 2004 - 7:45 p.m.
I cleaned out my trunk. Kind of.
Luke, Tracey, Simon, Andrew and I went to the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games this weekend. Just got home. For those of you who have never heard of the festival, it's the biggest Scottish Festival outside of Scotland. Much fun. My Dad was there on Saturday (we camped out all weekend) but I didn't get to see him much because our paths didn't cross as often as I would have hoped. We got severely drunk. Very, very drunk. It was a great atmosphere to get drunk in, though. Hundreds of happy drunk Scots running around with constant bagpipes playing around the campground. I MEAN CONSTANT. Bagpipes put you to bed at about 2 am and wake you up at about 7 am. There were a lot of cool events and stuff too, and we played A LOT of frisbee.
As a result of this weekend, I am beat. Every muscle in my body hurts and I'm absolutely filthy, and running on very little sleep. And hungry. I'm very hungry. I'm going to go fix what I can of my ailments.
August 11th, 2004 - 12:55 p.m.
I just went out to my car to get a sweater because it's freezing in our classroom, and was amazed at the amount of crap I've accumulated in the trunk of my car. I think I could survive for weeks soley on the contents of my trunk. I feel I need to share this with the world:
- crutches
- a -40 degrees C sleeping bag
- a thermarest
- an inner tube (deflated)
- a computer printer
- a napsack containing various tree planting crap
- 8 rolls of toilet paper
- an emergency roadside kit
- an old nalgene which seems to have something growing in it
- running shoes
- a pair of track pants
- 2 pairs of socks
- garbage (1 shopping bag + random crap dispersed)
- a set of spice jars
impressed?
August 8th, 2004 - 5:12 p.m.
I love Sundays. I don't really know why, but I'm always in teh best mood on Sundays, and I not jsut talking about a good mood. I'm in a great mood. You'd think I had some kind of unnatural endorphin in my system or something, but I don't. I wish I felt like this all the time. I think it has something to do with pool, because I normally spend a couple of hours playing pool at the Real Deal. It's a totally relaxed atmosphere. Very fun - if you like playing pool. Which I do. Yes.
I started wearing skirts again. I don't know why, but I am. I don't know why I ever stopped. Makes me feel more girly *giggle* which is odd, because I noramlly hate being girly. I think it's because I like showing off my boots. Most likely.
August 6th, 2004 - 12:44 p.m.
I'm on lunch break.
So this course seems to have had the adverse affect than what I was expecting. Because Iim sitting in front of a computer all day doing fun webby stuff, I seems to be heavily neglecting this site. I figured this would be a drawing board for me, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Anyawys, we're starting flash stuff today, which is pretty exciting because I know nothing about flash. The program seems pretty awkward right now, but I'm getting the hang of it so far.
Anyways, back to work. I'll do a better update when .... when .... I feel like it.
