So it's Canada Day long weekend, and some friends and I had talked about going to the beach tomorrow to enjoy some sunshine. I was thinking that this would be a good opportunity to try and find a flattering bathing suit. So I open up the interweb and ask Mr. Google - how do I choose a flattering bathing suit? Of course, I get a million and two results, because every woman in the world is concerned about the same thing. The problem, however, lies in the fact that every single website is telling me something different:
Note: my two concerns I'm dealing with here are wide shoulders and big boobs....
"Tank with lingerie straps - A horizontal neckline creates the illusion of wider shoulders and fuller bosom."
"Wide Shoulders - Choose a swimsuit or bikini with a halter top. Thick straps up top help make shoulders look more proportional."
"Large Bust - The nursing mother has plenty to show up top. Whether you're nursing or just plain busty, you can minimize your overflowing cups with spaghetti straps or wide straps on your swimsuit or bikini."
WTF? How am I supposed to find something if everyone is telling me something different??

I know I'm posting too many colour palettes up here and that no one really cares and everyone thinks I'm crazy for the amount of time I spend on this website but.... as I mentioned in the comments on this one, I'm learning to love pink in a way that I never thought possible.
And regarding yesterday's post - I'm making the comeback of the century. Oh yeah.

I admit defeat. Life has beaten me. I'm tired, poor, grumpy, and I have a headache from hell. And a ton of work to do. My cat is randomly pissing on the carpet in the front hall and my brain thinks it smells cat piss everywhere I am.

Today... I wish to have fun. I wish to be doing fun things. The weather outside is beautiful. I'm in a reasonably good mood for a monday. I'm drinking a V8. Unfortunately, I still have 4.5 hours of work. And probably by the time I am done work, I will not be in this mood. I will probably be in the go-home-and-sit-on-the-couch mood. This happens far too often.

About time for an update.... We didn't win this weekend - came in 3rd out of 18 teams, but Ivan and Jenn did, so there's something to be happy about. I look forward to next year when we get another chance.
The weekend was pretty crazy altogether. Lots of drinking and silliness. Left me with a bit of a headache on Sunday which quickly transformed into a large headache. I ended up spending almost all of yesterday in bed, but today is feeling a little better. Headaches that last more than 24 hours are just no fun at all.

Archiving with WebAdmin is sooo freakin easy.
Life has suddenly moved from super-lazy mode into crazy-busy mode. I'm playing field hockey twice a week now, and I actually have managed to make it to the gym almost every morning. Still playing Warhammer, and I'm now playing beach volleyball on Sundays, although there weren't enough teams in my pool league to make a summer session, so I'm not playing pool. But! Pool regionals are this weekend, and if my team wins, I get to go play some pool in Vegas, so that's pretty exciting.
I find for the most part that business kind of produces that desire to be more productive. It's like getting shit done is some kind of high and just makes you want to feel like more. I don't know.
